EW8 Song Editor and Presentation Editor not supporting Alt Code extended characters

I have reported this to the developers.

Song and Presentation editors will not allow input of extended/special characters using Alt Codes. This worked fine in EW7. So we don't have access to typographically correct speech marks and apostrophes, m-dash, etc.
