EW8 Powerpoint transitions

What version of MS Office do you have installed and what are the system specifications of the machine?
The first slide never has gone up with a transition, just appears, even in other versions.
I normally add a black slide as first to get around this.
has there been any solution for this problem offered?
We are also having problems with EW v8 and Powerpoint that we didn't have with version 7. Version 8 displays them smaller and in the top left corner, so it doesn't feel the screen. Where do I look please to rectify this?

In EW8 the first Powerpoint appears without transition, and slides do not advance. The same schedule works fine in EW7. The "use PP viewer option" is gone in EW8. We do not have it checked in EW7.
