I am unable to delete imported powerpoint presentations from the library. Presentations created with EW6 can be deleted, but it seems that imported powerpoints, such as VBS powerpoint slides from Lifeway cannot be deleted from the library.

Any thoughts as to why this is happening?

Hi~!

Open EW and click on PROFILES//PROFILES MANAGER// then click on the highlighted Instance Location which is usually named default.

Once you click on the the Instance Location this will open the profile folder. In here you can open the resources folder and then the presentations folder. You should be able to delete the PowerPoint file from here.
