I still have my trusty ATEK remote from EQ1007 days, and it used to work fine up to EW6, but then 7 ignores it . I need to use remote on Sunday as my tech is off sick, and I cant get the Ew remote app to connect to my windows 11 laptop despite hours of searching for a download of Bonjour (seriously - 2002 software?) checking software settings etc,
It really feels as is they have abandoned the idea of reliable systems that work for trying to be too clever and "modern" but going backwards.
Who wants to fiddle with a phone screen to advance slides while preaching, or singing, when you could just click a tiny button in your pocket before - NOT progress, simply trying to migrate to using a phone because that is what everything does, without thinking if a button is actually better.
SO how do I get my faithful ATEK remote to work, or do I bin easy worrship (which no longer does what it says on the tin) and find software that just works?
