Chromecast or wireless support

Hi - We have purchased the outright program for $400 and trying to set things up for a small home church we have only to find that it does not support chrome cast or any wireless connections. What I'm trying to set up is a primary and a secondary monitor for live worship we do. Can this still happen with chrome cast/wireless, does it have to be set up with cables for it to work or will there be an update that will include chrome cast/wireless?

Hi, the limitation is not with EW but with windows. Windows is not able to extend the desktop wirelessly unless you have a specific device that plugs into the video output on the computer and sends a wireless signal from there. Windows can only extend the desktop if it sees that second monitor in the display settings.  If you want to extend the desktop so you have the control screen on the computer and the live output on the TV, then you need to plug in with a cable.

Thank you Sir for the quick response. Much appreciated!

Assuming you have a wireless or wired network in your church, you could use a laptop running the NDI Studio Monitor (free). Studio Moniotr would be set to pick up the NDI output from EW. The output from that laptop would be connected to your monitor/projector. EW would of course be set to output to NDI. Then, no direct cables are required between your RE computer and projector. You would need another PC of laptop though.
