[v6 General Discussion] Can't play Featured DVDs

Hello, I am attempting to use easy worship to play Featured DVDs.
This sunday we attempted to play the entire movie "Passion of The Christ"
during the service -- However the DVD feature would not work with this
Disk or any other featured film. However when I tried it with a Home Video,
The software played without any problems...

I am now wondering if this software was meant to be used with Feature-length
DVDs or simply unofficial copies. To be more specific on the problem, when an
official DVD is inserted into the computer (running windows 10) -- The "Mark In"
button is disabled (not selectable). I am wondering if another potential cause of
this problem could be the fact that most featured-films require users to select
"Play" from the movie intro loop.

I'd appreciate any help you guys can provide. We would really like to get this software
up and running properly for the next Sermon.

NOTES: We are using the Official and Paid version of this software, also we have installed
DScaler and other necessary Codecs.

Hi!

You do have to select the "play" on the dvd title menu that shows up in the DVD player windows like you would at home when you have put it in the DVD player. Once the movie has started and passed all the warnings then you should be able to click on the Mark In or the Select Segment button. If you are still having and issue just give us a call.
Terry, Thank you for your Reply.

I should have pointed this out in the initial message, but
when I place a DVD into the computer and try to add it to EW
-- Nothing shows on the mini-screen. So There is no option for
Me to select "Play" or any other menu options often present in
the DVD. Instead the screen is just black.

However as I pointed out in the earlier post, when I try this with
a video that isn't copyright'd and that doesn't have a menu selection
screen -- The video plays without a problem.

... Any Suggestions?
I have played many purchased DVD's so it does normally work.

My only thought is maybe another program could be grabbing the DVD when it is inserted? Make sure something else is not trying to play it.

Thank you for your reply Craig, I actually considered that -- So I turned off all automatic
programs trying to control the DVD feature. It didn't work. As continued trouble-shooting,
I even installed the sample version of the software on a different computer and tried to
accomplish the same task -- However I ended up with the same result.
Hi!

Have someone call us and we can trouble shoot it.
