No backgrounds attaching to slides

I did a remote into the machine and did a reinstall of EW 7 and this corrected the issue.

The slides (songs) are not carrying the backgrounds we would like to attach to them. This happened about 2 months ago and we cannot figure it out. At present all our slides come with the words but black background always.
