I remember seeing references to this functionality years ago when EW6 was "coming soon"... It was said that you would be able to do editing of songs, scriptures slides, etc... while still controlling the presentation. As it is, EW6 works just like all past version in this respect. When an editing window is open, it locks focus to that window and you can't do anything else outside of that window.
This would be a HUGE feature. We occasionally find mistakes and need to change them, or build new slides on-the-fly.
