I am running Easyworship 7 build 7.4.2.11 on a Windows 10 PC.

I wish to have an mp3 playing whilst a slide is on the screen,  

I know that this has been asked before and I know what the solution should be, but it just doesn't work for me.

I add an image to the schedule I select an audio file from the media tab and drag it on top of the image.  When I run the schedule, no audio appears with the image - audio does play if I just add an audio file on its own or play a video.  

Am I doing something wrong?

First off that is an extremely old, and outdated release of EW7. The current release is 7.4.1.9.  7.4.1.9 that has a ton of updates and bug fixes. I would download and install that to see if that fixes the issue.
