YOUTUBE AND EASYWORSHIP

Does the laptop meet or exceed the System Hardware Requirements for running EW, especially the Graphics requirements?
Also make sure that you have changed the Windows Power Plan to a Performance or High Performance plan. Almost all laptops ship with the power plan set to some sort of Power Savings plan to increase battery life. This actually prevents them from using half of the capabilities of the computer.

Good Morning from the UK, EasyWorship,
Hope that you can help us with this new problem with the projection of YouTube videos via EW Schedule. We project some Christian music videos during the Worship Group’s practice/rehearsal, not during our public services. However, we do have permission from HillSongs to display theirs.
We have a new projection laptop using Windows 11 and EW 7.4.1.9. We have resolved the skewed projection of powerpoint slides via scaling, but YouTube is causing us a problem.
1. What works: In EW go to Web, Web and enter the url of the YouTube clip you want to play. Start the clip and select Schedule (and enter ‘No’ to 'Would you like to display the video full screen”) to import this to your EW schedule. Close the web and double click on the YouTube Clip in the schedule to play it live. It plays fine and you can make it full screen by clicking on the full screen icon on the primary (projector) screen.
2. What doesn't work with any YouTube clip: In EW go to Web, Web and enter the url of the YouTube clip you want to play. Start the clip and select Schedule (and enter ‘Yes’ to 'Would you like to display the video full screen”) to import this to your EW schedule. Close the web and double click on the YouTube Clip in the schedule to play it live. It won't play and you get a grey screen with and exclamation mark and the words: “Video Unavailable. Watch on YouTube.
There seems to be a lack of logic between the 2 situations. COuld it be our configuration? Please can you advise us?
