I have recently reinstalled the easyworship version 6 and when i go to play a mp4 file there is the audio coming through but the screen is black.

I have tried everything but still no joy.

Did you install the latest release of EW6, 6.7.16?

Are these videos encoded in HEVC X265/H265? You might need the HEVC X265 codec from the Microsoft Store.

Regarding Quicktime, not accessible anymore via the link you gave.

 I just checked the link a couple of minutes ago (3:20 PM Central Daylight Time) and it worked for me. Absolutely no problems downloading it. It was more than likely a temporary issue.
