Black Screen once i minimize the program

It sounds like you are not connected to a secondary monitor so your live output is showing on your computer monitor behind your control screen. To get it back, you can press Ctrl+Spacebar or press the Windows logo key on your keyboard and then click the EW icon on your taskbar.
To prevent it from showing up in the first place, just turn the Live output off by clicking the Live button in the top right corner of EW.

Hello all,
I'm wondering why when I am in the program that if I minimize the program there is a black screen that comes up and I can't get back into the program to try and complete what I was working on. I'm looking at the tutorial and I am trying to do this in little steps, so this makes it difficult to remember what I need to do.
