Copying theme within database

I would like to see a way of creating a new theme using an existing theme as a starting point.

It is possible to:

export a theme as a file;
edit the theme in the database and save with a new name
import the original theme file

The disadvantage with this is that the original theme is stored as a file under Resources, whereas the new theme is stored in the themes.db file in the Data folder under databases. This is confusing!

Editing a theme or song to another version and then save as it would be great. (Now I use export, rename, import, edit, rename and do the changes, save. This is a lot of steps. A save as would make this a lot shorter and easier.)

I agree this would be very useful and labour saving.
