I would like to import video files located on a separate drive from the software without the program copying them to the OS drive.
Why is this feature important to you?
The OS drive in the computer is a smaller SSD, whereas the Data drive is a 1TB. If the program could access files on other drives without copying, I could play large video files. The church wants to use EW for virtual pastor sermon playback, using uncompressed HD video (large files).
We have created a workaround for now by moving EW software to the Data drive from the OS drive. This allows the video file and software to reside on the same drive.
