General PowerPoint Troubleshooting

Issue
If you are experiencing various issues with PowerPoint in EasyWorship, there are some general PowerPoint troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve those issues.
Solutions
Run a Quick Repair of Microsoft Office
- Close out of EasyWorship.
- Open your Windows Control Panel and select the option to Uninstall a program.
- In the list of installed programs, find your Microsoft Office program and right-click on it.
- Click on the option to Change or Repair.
- In the Change Office window select the option to Repair or Quick Repair and select Continue.
- Allow the repair process to complete and restart the computer if you are prompted to do so.
- Once the computer comes back up, launch EasyWorship and try importing a PowerPoint presentation again.
Check the DPI setting of each monitor in the Display Settings
- Right-click the desktop and select Display Settings.
- Make sure the slider bar that says Change the size of text, apps, and other items is set to 100%.
- You will need to click on each monitor and make sure each one is set to 100%.
Make sure Microsoft PowerPoint program is set to Use Current Resolution
- Open your Microsoft PowerPoint program.
- Click the Slide Show tab at the top.
- If using PowerPoint 2016, you will see an drop-down menu on the right hand side that says Resolution. Make sure this is set to Use Current Resolution.
- If using any other version of PowerPoint, click on Set Up Slide Show. In the bottom right corner where the Resolution drop-down menu is, make sure it is set to Use Current Resolution and then click OK.
Make sure there are not multiple versions of Office installed
- Open your Windows Control Panel and select the option to Uninstall a program.
- In the list of installed programs, if you see a version of Office that you are not using, right-click on it, and select Uninstall.
Check Windows updates and if you have any for Microsoft Office, install the Windows updates
- Click on the Windows Logo Start button in the bottom left corner of your screen.
- Type “winupdate”, and click on Windows Display Settings.
- Click the Check for Updates button.
- If there are any updates for Microsoft Office, then install the Windows updates.
Images that PowerPoint is marking as unsecure (Microsoft Office Security Alert)
- Browse to the image, right-click the image and select Properties.
- Check the Unblock checkbox at the bottom of the Properties window and click OK.
- Edit the PowerPoint file and delete the image off the slide.
- Drag the image back onto the slide, and save the PowerPoint file.
- Import the PowerPoint file back into EasyWorship.
