Deleting audio from Presentations
In EW click on Each Slide and you should see the audio icon on each one. You will need to manually delete it from each slide.
If you're in the editor, you should be able to go to the Words or Slides tab and select the audio icon on each slide and press Delete on the keyboard to remove it.
There are 2 ways audio plays in EasyWorship. If it's set as a "background", it will play through all slides without restarting on each slide. This is great for songs or announcement presentations.
The other way it will play is if it's added as a "foreground". If it's attached this way to the Master slide of the song, it will assume it's a separate audio file for each slide and start at the beginning of the audio file on each slide change. You can add the audio file to the Master slide on the Masters tab, but if you want it to play as a 'background' through all slides, select the audio file and go to Inspector and go to Media and change the Media Usage to Background.
Thanks Dan, but if you delete the icon you have highlighted in the editor, the icons on the slides under masters still remain and the sound still plays. The only way I can get rid of them is by deleting the Presentation and recreating it again. I have just done it again.
Method - Edit Presentation from Schedule, select Speaker icon from Title Style the same as you show with inspector open and select media as you have. Drag Speaker icon of from (highlighted) it is then removed. Then save and close. Go live the sound still plays with no icon showing but it is still showing on the slides.
Once audio is on slide, it cannot be deleted even if you drag the icon from the editor. By the way select the icon then press delete it deletes the slide not the icon.
Dragging the icon does not remove it from the slide. It just moves it to a different location on the screen. I'm not sure what you mean by when you select the audio icon and press delete it deletes the slide?
I will do more testing, but I've worked a lot with audio and have always been able to remove the audio from a presentation no matter which way it was added.
What I'm saying is that if I delete the icon that you have the red line around, it deletes it. but the other column where the slides are listed under Masters, the speaker icon on those does not disappear.
I then save and play my presentation it still plays the audio even though I have deleted the grey icon. Shouldn't the icons on the Masters slide also disappear too? But they don't.
Yes, they should also be gone. They are on mine and the audio does not play anymore. If you select each slide and delete the audio icon, does that work?
They are not selectable, you can only select the grey speaker icon on the main screen in the editor which isn't there now as I deleted it but the sound still plays.
can you export your presentation and attach it here? I would like to take a look at it please.
Hi Dan,
When I try to attach the file it comes up with Exceeds attachments size(Not Added)
I'm not sure how to do it through Dropbox. The Presentation is 67MB as it contains 5 videos.
I've since re-created the Presentation and put the new sound track on it and it works okay. Hopefully EW8 will be Easier Worship.
If you want to create a ticket, then you can send me a link to something like OneDrive etc.

I'm trying to delete audio from a presentation.
NOTE: If you have already tried adding audio, you will need to delete all audio files from every slide in that particular song/presentation before starting these steps.
This is what it tells me in your Knowledge Base, unfortunately it doesn't tell you how to. I can delete the icon from the Masters slide but it still has icons on every slide and still plays the original song, there is no way to delete the song from each slide
I recreated the presentation and added audio but it starts again on each slide within the Presentation which is useless as slide change every 30 seconds.
There is very little in the Help within the program about audio, in fact if you search on the word audio or sound it doesn't even come up with anything at all.
