My computer died (most likely power supply issue) but hard drive still functional.  Purchased new PC for EW but would really like to find a way to access the old profile so we didn't have to redo all of our songs.  Unfortunately I cannot run the transfer tool because that computer won't start.  Is there a way to access the file folder (like there was in v6)?  

Take the drive out of the old computer and connect it to the new one. There are External External Drive Bays that you plug the drive into qne connect that to a USB port on the new computer. Unless you used a different location on the old computer the Profile should be the default of C:\Users\Public\Documents\Softouch . Just copy that folder and all of it's contents from the old drive to the same location on the new computer.
