I recently wiped my computers clean and lost all added songs / choruses in it. I can add songs by downloading a .ews file from a trusted site but I have no idea how to add it to easy worship. I tried reading the manual and googling answers but I am at a standstill. I am new to easy worship and am finding it difficult to figure out.

That is an old Schedule file. With EW open, drag and drop it into the Schedule area on the left. Once it opens you can use the "Check Schedule for Changes" option to add the songs, videos, etc. into your databases.
If you are new to EW you should go to the Support Site and watch the training videos. They will teach you most of the basics.
