Is there a way to highlight the the slides in the schedule that you want to change the backgrounds on and change them all at once? Is there a better way to change the backgrounds after the schedule is made other than picking up the media file and dropping it on each individual slide?

If you drag the background to the main schedule element (what you see when it is not expanded) it will apply the background to all slides.
