Display Keeps Clearing While On Live – EasyWorship 7
Because of what Terry found, I would guess that there is either a virus that is copying everything you're double clicking on since a double click is triggering Ctrl+C, or you have a virus scanner or something else installed on your computer that is triggering Ctrl+C when you double click.
Hi!
We did a remote into a machine with this issue and found that something was activating the CTRL C when you double click on the slides in a song. Here is a what to test it and see if it is the same issue on your machine.
Close EW
You will need go to the search bar type in the following, %programdata% then navigate to the softouch folder open it. Then open the EasyWorship.v7 folder. Open the settings folder. Open the HotKeys.2.ini file and change the ClearScreenKeys=c -67 to ClearScreenKeys=. Save the file and then restart EasyWorship and see if that works. If it does, then something on the machine is activating the CRTL plus the C key.
No remote clicker for us.
Are any of you using any kind of remote clicker of anything using MIDI?
If you can attach the DXDIAG that will help troubleshoot the issue.
Have any solutions been found? were having the same issues.
Thank you!
We're running Windows 10, 64-bit & EasyWorship Version 7 Build 7.4.1.9
Please let me know if I didn't attach the right information. As well, after doing some more trouble shooting I have discovered that the issue seems to happen when double clicking on a schedule item or specific slide (rather than using the GoLive button and using the arrow keys to advance through slides).
I hope this helps.
Thanks for digging into it!
I am trying to find a common thread for this issue.
Can you all let me know what version of Windows are you using?
Also please attach a DXDIAG file for me to.
1. Click on the Windows Logo Icon (Start menu) at the bottom left-hand corner of the screen,
2. Type in "DXDIAG" and click on 'DXDIAG.exe' or 'DXDIAG run command',
3. Click Yes when a yes/no question appears,
4. Click on Save All Information.. at the bottom-right of the DXDIAG window,
5. Save the information under an obvious name such as "dxdiagoutput",
6. Attach the saved file to this ticket.
I’ve had something similar happen before.
We are having the same problem, first experienced on Sunday the 21st. Our sermon (presentation) slides would be advanced, the scripture would flash, then the screen would fade black.
I tried opening a past schedule and it had the same problems. I created a new schedule, all elements, from song to presentations, would flash, then fade black or just to the background image, depending on how the slide had been created.
Are you saying that the Clear button is showing that it's pressed (highlighted blue) and the background is still showing, or that the entire screen goes black or shows the windows desktop background?
