Hi Guys, I seem to have problems logging on to the forum. I keep getting the following reply:

SQL ERROR [ part of my password ]

Duplicate entry 'My email Address' for key 'username_clean' [1062]

I also can't understand why it gives me a noreply email address to reply to.

The only way I can log in is by replying to a forum message which then prompts me to log in, it then accepts my details and even though I tick remember me - it never does.

After resetting my password, I was able to get in no problem but I still have to keep signing in each time despite ticking 'Remember Me'. I also cannot get rid of the ONLINE status above my avatar, again despite ticking 'Don't show my Online Status.

Do you think someone from EW might at least reply to me as I opened this on the 7th Jan 2016 and then updated it on the 16th and still no reply. This is causing me a lot of grief - even today I tried to log in and I get taken to the purchase site which comes up with 'Ops You Don't have any Downloads'. But I'm trying to sign in to the forum - not down load anything.

I'm sorry we haven't responded. I did submit your issue to our web developers and they fixed the initial issue you were having with the database error and and the oops page. We are still working on the other issues.

It's a forum issue and how it's handling login. Since we are using the EasyWorship.com login and not the PHPBB login to prevent users from having to have multiple logins, the PHPBB forum doesn't always see that you have a session and makes you log in again. It's presenting the phpbb login screen to you and authenticating through the EasyWorship.com site so the options on the phpbb login screen are not valid.

I am having this same issue, and it is over a year since this post was updated. So is this the way it is going to stay or is it something that is being worked on?

I would like to come to the forum, login and check my answered or unanswered posts, not have to post a reply to be able to see my answered or unanswered posts.

Are you having trouble logging into this support forum? What exactly is the issue that you are having?

When I come to this page - http://forums.easyworship.com/ - there is a login button in the upper right hand corner. I login. It takes my credentials. But my name doesn't show up and it doesn't say that I have logged in. I scroll to some post. I want to post a reply - "oh, you need to login."

Well, didn't I just login when I came to this page? Why do I have to login in again? So the upper login button doesn't do anything?

It seems to me that this is the question that this post was asking and that the solution was - "that is just the way it is. It looks like 1 page, but really it is 2 separate pages and so you have to login again."

So, to answer your question, when I want to post, I have no trouble logging in. I just wondered why, when I came to the page - http://forums.easyworship.com/ - and did login in the upper right, I had to re-login to post a reply or make a new topic.

I am able to login fine. Just not from the upper right hand corner of - http://forums.easyworship.com/

Yes, that is the screen that I get. But after I do my login, it still says login in the upper right corner. I have to post a reply or do new topic to actually have it log in and have my name show up in the upper right hand corner.

Ok, I have successfully taken screen shots on this computer so that I can show you what I am seeing. Next step - how do I upload them?
